Greetings from Jacaranda Hotels Kenya and as we come to the start of yet another exciting year, we are delighted for your continued support to Jacaranda Hotel Nairobi and indeed all our other properties.

Jacaranda hotel Nairobi is finally coming to an end of what has been an aggressive project of enhancing the product to continue to meet the changing demands of the customers

Detail as mentioned December 2009.	Current status
Complete Room Refurbishments and upgrade to Deluxe rooms	Rooms are now ready with the room for the physically challenged ready for opening in January 2010.
Development of a new Health centre and Spa – works of which have commenced and the noisy below ground level works to facilitate for underground parking space now complete	Physical Structure has now been completed works beginning on internal finishes which have no interruption on the guest comfort. This are expected to be finalized by 28th February 2010.
The Final Lap phase (24th December 2009 to 28th February 2010)
Closure and Relocation of the current swimming pool to the New heated pool adjacent to the health centre and Improvement of the enlarged Garden area in line with this large (See attachment herein)	The New heated Pool Development structure is ready and final tiling is being worked on. . Back filling the old Pool and creation of a new garden commences shortly
Finally improvement of the current pool area gardens by brightening it up, moving the current Gazebo Banda to the current site of the pool changing room.	This is the final part of the project that will be undertaken after the new facilities above are ready. We do not expect have any guest interruption while works continue in this area.

NOTE: We expect this new improved facility will be ready for your guest by 28th February 2010 having taken advantage of the low occupancy during the just concluded festive season and early days in month of January 2010.

With the closure of the current pool Garden area (from Thursday 24th December to 28th February 2010)in order to facilitate while hastening on improvements in this final Stage, the hotels pool area services have been adjusted as follows;-
• Garden setup has been extended to the gardens around the hotel Residents parking adjacent to the Safari café (main Restaurant)
• The Hotel management has organized with The Arena Fitness centre located at the adjacent Sarit Centre shopping center free use of their facilities including, Swimming pool, Sauna and Steam room for all guests. The said facilities are considered amongst the best in Nairobi, as usual guests will be required to collect vouchers and be escorted by a Hotel Staff to the Arena from the hotel reception
Renovations works timing remains
• Weekdays;- Monday to Friday 0800am to 0500pm
• Weekends;- Saturday to Sunday 0800 am to 0200pm
(this will ensure absolute uninterrupted guest comfort throughout their individual stay.)
